Product Family: Disk Shipping Containers

Disk shipping containers are made up of a cassette (body), a top cover and a bottom cover. These containers enclose and protect the disks while in transit or storage. Disk shipping containers are designed for specific disk sizes (form-factors). Normally these containers are ordered as assemblies but you can also order the components separately according to the listings below.

Assemblies:  Select a form-factor (disk diameter and thickness) 65mm, 0.63mm (2.5", 0.025") 65mm, 0.80mm (2.5", 0.0315") 65mm, 1.27mm (2.5", 0.05") 84mm, 0.63mm (3", 0.025") 84mm, 0.80mm (3", 0.0315") 84mm, 1.00mm (3", 0.04") 84mm, 1.27mm (3", 0.05") 84mm, 1.6mm (3", 0.063") 95mm, 0.80mm (3.5", 0.0315") 95mm, 1.00mm (3.5", 0.04") 95mm, 1.27mm (3.5", 0.05") • All shipping containers consist of a cassette body with removable top and bottom covers • Shipping containers hold a maximum of 25 disks per container • Containers come in a variety of materials, colors, and sizes • You may wish to consider the Clean-As-Molded™ (CAM) option • Other options are also available such as "washed" product, "special handling," and "non-standard packaging" • Sold in cartons with number of units as follows: 48mm=90, 65mm=84, 84mm=45, 95mm=45, 130mm=40

Top Covers:  Select a disk diameter
65mm (2.5") 84mm (3") 95mm (3.5")	• Top covers are "form-factor" dependent and are identified by diameter when possible • Entegris strives to create a standard color for each "form-factor" to aid in identification and prevent mix up in factories • Components are available in either "standard" or "low chloride" material (refer to subsequent pages and material specifications for details) • Top covers function to "hold" disks in position, prevent disk rotation, and shield disks to some degree from inadvertent damage • Top covers are not intended to hermetically seal the container • If no top cover part number exists to satisfy your needs, please contact your local sales representative for a request for quotation (RFQ)

Bottom Covers:  Select a disk diameter
